Our Vision

TriWest is committed to preserving the integrity, flexibility and durability of the military health care system by supplementing the military health system with access to the finest civilian medical services available, thereby contributing to the continued superiority of U.S. combat readiness. TriWest believes this is best accomplished through a partnership between the military's direct-care system and the private sector, which results in an integrated approach to meeting the health needs of active duty military members, retirees and their families.

Our Mission

TriWest's mission is to provide its customers access to high-quality, cost-effective health care services and superior customer service while returning a reasonable profit to its owners.

TriWest Healthcare Alliance is owned by a holding company, TriWest Alliance, comprised of not-for-profit health care organizations and university hospital systems located throughout the TRICARE West Region. These entities not only further our local presence in the communities in which we serve, but they also help us to build a robust network of TRICARE providers.

It is through this network of locally managed, civilian providers that TriWest enhances the strength of America's military health care system.
