TriWest sponsors Military Appreciation Night, with a new twist

Families can videotape their messages for our troops at the ball games

PHOENIX (June 26, 2007) — TriWest Healthcare Alliance is offering a rare chance for family members, friends and supporters of America’s troops to video tape personal messages to our troops while attending Military Appreciation nights at El Paso Diablos baseball games.

El Paso ABC affiliate KVIA TV will video tape minute-long messages and place them on the station’s Web site, www.KVIA.com, where they can be viewed by troops stationed around the world.

"To those defending our nation far from home, these personal video taped messages are a unique and heartfelt touch of home," said TriWest President and CEO David J. McIntyre, Jr. "Providing free tickets to the ball games, along with hundreds of ‘thundersticks’ is our way of saying ‘thank you for your service’ and to honor the dedicated men and women who wear our nation’s uniforms."
