TRICARE beneficiaries, whether in the West Region or visiting or attending school in another TRICARE region, should always be prepared for storms or other disasters.

Whichever TRICARE region you are in when disaster strikes, TRICARE will continue to meet your health care and pharmacy needs. However, you will need to make certain preparations in order to cope with road closures, power failures, evacuations and other disruptions often associated with these situations in order survive and to access your TRICARE benefits.
