FY08 DRG Reimbursement Updates
The TRICARE diagnosis-related group (DRG) reimbursement rates have increased 4.4 percent for FY08. The effective date is October 1, 2007, while the implementation date is November 15, 2007.Below are the adjusted standardized amounts (labor and non-labor components added together prior to wage index adjustment).

The hospital daily charge amounts for ADFMs not enrolled in TRICARE Prime has increased from $14.80 to $15.15. Please refer to an updated TRICARE Quick Reference Guide (below) on TRICARE Program Options Costs.
TRICARE FY08 Ambulatory Surgery Centers Update
Here is the latest information on TRICARE's FY08 update of reimbursement for Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). The FY08 ASC rates are effective November 1, 2007.- The FY08 rates for TRICARE's ASC groups 1-10 have a zero update amount for FY08 (i.e., the rates for groups 1-10 remain frozen).
- The FY08 rate for TRICARE's ASC group 11, lithotripsy, is updated to match the FY08 DRG 323 rate of $3,347.
